During the first week in silc,i learn a lot of methodology and a variety of techniques to apply in my native country.the use of brainstorming at the beginning of a good class, and the elicit method to get information using previous knowledge, make a diversity of tools to put in practice to help my learners.on the other hand, the use of four skills inside and outside the classroom. Also i can interact with native language speakers, outside the silc, and put in practice. We put in practice all the strategies learned in class, and everyday improve our skills.topics like a classroom management,to control our way to teach, and the inductive and deductive method to teach a lesson, are awesome and unforgettable.i try to put in practice during the return to our schools.
Brainstorming and eliciting are two very easy and useful techniques that yu can apply to any classroom and any level. These are good techniques for Ts to get used to using and to use all the time. They help to get Ss engaged in the class right away and require no prep. I was happy to see several of you use them in your microteaching.
